On January 16, 2023, according to Royal Decree 993\/2022, the new <strong>RoHS <\/strong>(Restriction of Hazardous Substances) and <strong>RII RAEE<\/strong> (Registro Integrado Industrial y Registro de Aparatos El\u00e9ctricos y Electr\u00f3nicos) measures came into force.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This new regulation details the new supervision measures for hazardous substances and imported electrical equipment. It aims to comply with <strong>European regulations on hazardous substances and the waste directive<\/strong>. This is because many electrical and electronic devices include components and parts that, once disused, become hazardous waste that must be treated appropriately to avoid <strong>environmental impact<\/strong> and health problems for people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"700\" height=\"420\" src=\"https:\/\/logisber.com\/contenido\/subidas\/2023\/01\/normas-rohs-rii-raee-700x420.jpg\" alt=\"normas RoHS RII RAEE\" class=\"wp-image-13730\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>At the moment, no registration of the importer or its products is required, but customs agents recommend that importers whose products are electrical and electronic, use the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/comercio.serviciosmin.gob.es\/Docucice.AE\/Ayuda\/introduccion_a_docucice.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">DOCUCICE document repository<\/a><\/strong> to expedite their imports. This is an online space where information and documentation can be stored so that RoHS and WEEE officers can have it at their disposal for each import.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At Logisber, we recommend that importers register with DOCUCICE, as this could be a necessary requirement in the future. On the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/industria.serviciosmin.gob.es\/rii_aee\/UI\/ConsultasPublicas\/ProductoresIns.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">website of the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism of the Spanish Government<\/a><\/strong> you can quickly check if an importer is registered. If not, the importer can register on this list by sending an e-mail request to DOCUCICE.
